The Clefs app allows musicians to explore different chord progressions for a given key without having to memorize all the music theory. It transcribes a scale degree on which a chord is built and gives a visual numerical representation of the Nashville Number System or NNS. Just as in the Nashville Number System NNS this app displays the major and minor chords for a given key as numbers. Chord numbers 1 through 7 represent the position relative to the scale. This app is meant for musicians that have not memorized all the chords in a musical key and want to create new chord progressions. It is useful for Guitar, Piano, Bass, Ukulele, Violin, Cello, Voice and Singing or any other instrument. The app quickly displays the musical theory and can also be shown for quick music instruction or music teaching and learning.

This app has the following features:
- Swipe across the screen to change the chords for different keys. There are 14 different keys with the chords shown.
- Toggle to see chords for major and minor keys
- See relative chords for relative keys. Relative keys are great to solo the relative chords over the key chords and other transpositions
- Display the music notes of each of the chords in a key. It will display the root note, 3rd, 5th, and 7th notes in a chord
- Add 7ths and dominant 7th chords to the key
- Transpose your chords in the key with a capo
- Visual representation of the Nashville Number System: NNS
- Toggle the solfège pitches of the chords in a key for singing and voice lessons
